Administrative Coordinator
Maazi (any) is a recent graduate of Mills College at Northeastern University with dual degrees in Environmental Studies and Music. With a background spanning food justice, music, and environmental advocacy, they are passionate about fostering community resilience and creative expression. They have been dedicated to bridging the intersections of culture, sustainability, and accessibility to shape collective care and meaningful, community-driven change.
Maazi is from Southern California and is deeply rooted in her heritage, including their Haitian lineage. At Mills, they held roles in student organizing and grassroots movements and prioritized being a resource. Their work extends across research, mutual aid, and creative storytelling, always centering on Black liberation and community care. A dedicated musician, Maazi’s practice spans blending harp performance, music production, and ethnomusicology with their commitment to storytelling and cultural preservation.
Outside of work, you’ll find them enjoying live music, cooking, crafting, and traveling—always seeking new ways to connect with people, cultures, and artistry.
