Masika

Masika is the Founder of Seeking Solutions, a consultancy supporting social movements and shifting power and resources to achieve racial and climate justice. She focuses on the interconnection between land and water systems to create interventions for positive social change. Her experience spans the philanthropic, non-profit, private, academic, entertainment and government sectors.

She is the host, narrator and co-producer of the 2023 documentary Digging In, where she amplifies the voices and experiences of farmers in the U.S. As a DJ, she builds culture and relationships by communicating with people using music. She currently serves on the steering committee of the Wildseeds Fund, the boards of the Croatan Institute and Greens REALIGN and the Advisory Circle of Feed Black Futures. She received her Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her Master of Science in Sustainability Management from the Earth Institute at Columbia University.
