Evin
Leadership Council Member
Evin is a multidisciplinary healer, educator, and artist who is dedicated to her love-centered work and way of being. Through her commitment to children and the inner child, Evin is a steward of ancestral healing, exploring the lens of freedom of self-expression. She continues to be a teacher and student of abolitionist, heart-centered, ancestral healing, learning, & expression. She has been able to do so through her involvement in youth development, culturally centered healing and education, expressive arts healing, divination/spiritual work, herbal & culinary nutritional health, and Black queer initiatives throughout her time in the Bay Area for almost a decade. While she honors her BA in Child Development & minor in Africana Studies, as well as her MA in Drama Therapy, she has gained the most from and gives reverence to Bay Area Black families, caregivers, elders, young people, and especially mothers, with whom she has been blessed to learn from.
