Resources
Below are resources we offer our communities to support nourishment, education, networking, and farming.
Emergency Food Aid
We provide emergency food relief for 6-8 weeks to families impacted by systemic injustices like land dispossession and carceral violence. Our culturally relevant, nutritious food boxes help address immediate food insecurity, offering support while we work to build long-term, sustainable food systems in Black communities.

Popular Education Workshops
Our popular education workshops, teach-ins, and events engage members in the principles of food sovereignty, food justice, Black liberation, and the principals of abolition. By fostering leadership development and understanding of political frameworks, we prepare community members to advocate for change and contribute to building a more just and sustainable food system. Members who are committed to leadership in this area are encouraged to apply for our Leadership Council. Not a member?
Mutual Aid
We hold a mutual aid fund stewarded by community members in our Leadership Council . This fund connects our members to vital resources, from food and health related resources to transportation and childcare. By building a network of support, we ensure that no one is left behind and that our communities have the means to thrive, even in times of crisis.
Farmer Training Education & Support
We connect individuals to farmer training programs that focus on regenerative farming practices, paying for their participation to reduce financial barriers. In addition, we provide childcare assistance and transportation support to ensure that participants can fully engage with their training. By making these programs accessible, we empower people to become leaders in food sovereignty and land stewardship.
Please reach out to members@feedblackfutures.org if you need support paying for or finding a training.
Resource Connection
We help connect individuals to essential community resources through our Resource Guide. Our local resource guide, available below, provides information on everything from seed banks and gardening supplies to food assistance programs and local businesses offering meals. We support individuals in locating people who can help them build their gardens, access food, and secure the resources they need to grow and thrive. Contribute to the Resource Guide here.
